Robert Kelsey Obituary

Robert V. Kelsey BRISTOL, Va. Robert V. Kelsey, age 87, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Nov. 5, 2010, at the Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was a born Sept. 10, 1923, in Washington Coun ty, Va., and was a lifelong resident of the Bristol area. He was retired employee with Johnson and Pendry Construction with 30 years of service. Robert loved farm tractors and outdoor work. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertie K. Kelsey; parents, Barney and Ethel Barnes; and a son, Oscar "Ossie" Kelsey. Survivors include: two daughters, Mary Ellen Bott Musser and Janet Kelsey Roberts Elam and husband, Mike; two sons, Don V. Kelsey and John I. Kelsey; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010, at the graveside in Mountain View Cemetery with Dr. Stan Anderson officiating. Online condolences may be registered at www.weaverfuneralhome.net The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the Weaver Funeral Home. Arrangements were made with Weaver Funeral Home.
