Rosemary Herron

Rosemary Herron BRISTOL, Tenn. Rosemary Herron ,69, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, in the Bristol Nursing Home. She was born in Bristol Virginia on April 24, 1941, to the late Edward Gill and Winnie Bowman Gill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ernest Gill and Roy Gill. Rosemary was a lifelong seamstress. She worked for Bristol Jeans for 18 years and with Bristol Bag for four years. She was a member of New Grace Baptist Church. Rosemary is survived by her daughter, Karen Herron of Bristol Tennessee; sons, Jessie Lee Herron Jr. and Brian Herron and wife Sandra, all of Bristol Tennessee; sisters, Doris Andis of Gaston, S.C., and Virginia Evans of Mendota, Va.; brothers, Mack Gill and his wife Jean of Fort Valley, Va., Malcolm and his wife Carole of King George, Va., Ronnie Gill and his wife Joan of Abingdon, Va.; grand-dog, Oreo; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock, Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, at Blevins Funeral and Cremation Services. The funeral service will be conducted 11 o'clock on Saturday, Sept. 11, in the Heritage Chapel of Memories at Mountain View Cemetery, with Brother Sam Haynes officiating. Pallbearers will be: Edward Carlyle Hobbs, Trevor Gill, Eddie Gill, Mark Hobbs, Kevin Gill and Jeff Gill.
