Rosie Lee Plemons Shaw ALVATON , Ky. Rosie Lee Plemons Shaw, age 84, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010. She was born Dec. 26, 1925, in Washington County, Va., a daughter of the late William David and Mamie Brummitt Goodson, and she lived most of her life in the Bristol area. She was a former seamstress for Country Miss, and was a member of East Bristol Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Shaw; brothers, Clarence and William Marvin Goodson. She is survived by: sons, Jimmy Wayne Plemons and wife Bonnie, Charles William Plemons Jr. and wife Betty; sisters, Mabel Leonard, Susie Nunley, Hattie White, and Pauline Whitlow; brothers, Herman Edward Goodson and Burleigh Gene Goodson; two grandchildren, Charles Plemons III and wife Rheanna, Nathan Plemons and wife Jennifer; great-grandchild, Kenneth Caden Plemons. A funeral service for Mrs. Shaw will be held 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Niles Kitzmiller officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 6 to 7:45 p.m. at the funeral home. The burial will be held 10 a.m. Thursday in the Mountain View Cemetery. Online condolences may be registered at www.weaverfuneralhome.net Arrangements have been made with Weaver Funeral Home.
