Rosie Lee Plemons Shaw ALVATON , Ky. Rosie Lee Plemons Shaw, age 84, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010. She was born Dec. 26, 1925, in Washington County, Va., a daughter of the late William David and Mamie Brummitt Goodson, and she lived most of her life in the Bristol area. She was a former seamstress for Country Miss, and was a member of East Bristol Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Shaw; brothers, Clarence and William Marvin Goodson. She is survived by: sons, Jimmy Wayne Plemons and wife Bonnie, Charles William Plemons Jr. and wife Betty; sisters, Mabel Leonard, Susie Nunley, Hattie White, and Pauline Whitlow; brothers, Herman Edward Goodson and Burleigh Gene Goodson; two grandchildren, Charles Plemons III and wife Rheanna, Nathan Plemons and wife Jennifer; great-grandchild, Kenneth Caden Plemons. A funeral service for Mrs. Shaw will be held 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Niles Kitzmiller officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 6 to 7:45 p.m. at the funeral home. The burial will be held 10 a.m. Thursday in the Mountain View Cemetery.
