Roy J. Funk FORT MYERS, Fla. Roy J. Funk, 89, formerly of Marion, Va., passed away Sept. 15, 2010, in Fort Myers. He was preceded in death by a son, Gerald Funk; a daughter, Karen Stover; five brothers, Bane, Claude, French, Ernest and Jack Funk; and one sister, Georgia Meek, all of Marion. He is survived by his wife, Mary Funk, of 66 years, of Fort Myers; two daughters, Joyce Stamper of Dixie, W.Va., and Robin Funk of Piscataway, N.J.; grandchildren, Dawn Campbell, Melissa Volkmann, Lelia Isel Stahm, and Robin Isel and five great-grandchildren. Viewing will be Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. Sept. 19, 2010, at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home in Silver Spring, Md. Funeral service will be Monday 11 a.m., Sept. 20, 2010, also at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home.
