Ruby T. Nance

Ruby T. Nance BRISTOL, Tenn. Ruby T. Nance, age 77, went home to be with her Lord, Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010, at her residence, following an extended illness. A native of Sullivan County, she was a daughter of the late Caleb and Elizabeth Lingerfelt Sigman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Billy Townsend; and two daughters, Barbara Jane Roop and Della Weaver. Survivors include one daughter, Debbie Johnson of Bluff City; two sisters, Helen Richards of Bluff City and Nancy Lingerfelt of Piney Flats; grandchildren, Angie Malone, Marsha Weaver, James Weaver, Sheila Burchett, Billy Joe Johnson Jr., Telenya Fillers, Tonya Malone; great-grandchildren, Christa Britt, Joseph Johnson, Karrah Johnson, Rebecca Malone, Kayla Malone, Julie Weaver, Dustin Fillers, Clinton Kirpatrick, Ashley Filler, Christopher Cunningham, Matty Fillers and Mackenzie Parker; and two great-great-grandchildren, Braylon Britt and Marley Hall. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Mrs. Nance was of the Baptist faith and she liked to cook. The funeral service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, 2010, at Tetrick Funeral Home Bluff City Chapel with Rev. Eddie Leonard officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 8 p.m. prior to the service in the chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home and other times at the residence. The graveside service and interment will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, in the Chinquapin Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Active pallbearers will be Joseph Johnson, Dustin Fillers, Kenneth Malone, Billy Johnson Jr., James Weaver and Billy Jaynes.
