Sally Elizabeth Bailey Steffey CASTLEWOOD, Va. Sally Elizabeth Bailey Steffey, 74, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, at Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, Tenn. She was born in Castlewood, daughter of the late Newton and Mary Lucas Bailey. She was preceded in death by a special grandson, Billy James "B.J." Steffey II; two brothers, Robert Bailey and Hargis Bailey; and two sisters, Ollie Bailey and Margaret Bailey. She is survived by her husband, Bill Steffey; three daughters, Sally Ann Creech and husband Terry of Lebanon, Va., Vicky Taylor of Castlewood and Mary Townes and husband Donald of Castlewood; four sons, Billy "Jim" Steffey and wife Linda of Castlewood, Tommy Steffey and wife Carolyn of Lebanon, Rev. Bobby Steffey of Castlewood and Newton Steffey and wife Pam of Florida; four sisters, Lutie Steffey of Morristown, Tenn., Ada Bryant of Abingdon, Va., Josephine Dever of Ohio, and Evelyn Crotty of Ohio; four brothers, William Bailey of Abingdon, Donald Bailey of Lebanon, Dean Bailey of Rutherford, Tenn., and Jim Bailey of Abingdon; 16 grandchildren; 16 great- grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Sally Elizabeth Bailey Steffey will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, with Rev. Bill Crawford officiating. Interment will follow in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood. Pallbearers will be Terry Creech Jr., Jim Bailey, Bill Bailey, Tom Steffey, Newton Steffey, T.J. Steffey, Steven Steffey, Bobby Lee Steffey and Donald Townes. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood.
