Scott Edward Johnson ST. PAUL, Va. Scott Edward Johnson, 41, died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009, at Russell County Medical Center, Lebanon, Va. He was born in Flint, Mich.. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ivery Johnson; and maternal grandfather, Jack Bradow. He is survived by his father and mother, Arvil and Goldie Johnson of St. Paul; two sisters, Virginia Scarberry and husband Kenneth of Fenton, Mich., and Rebecca Caudill of St. Paul; one brother, Jason Johnson of St. Paul; paternal grandmother, Stella Johnson of Hazard, Ky.; maternal grandmother, Virginia Bradow of Grand Blanc, Mich.; special friend, Gary Miotke of Castlewood, Va.; three nieces, Ashley, Sarah, and Allison; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services for Scott Edward Johnson will be conducted at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009, in the Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, with Rev. Allen Porter, Sister Deanna Kelley and Brother Mike Scarberry officiating. The body will be taken to Engle-Walker Funeral Home in Hazard on Sunday where another funeral service will be conducted. Interment will follow in Duff-Deaton Cemetery, Hazard, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009, in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood. I am so sorry to hear about Scotts passing. I have always loved him dearly, The memories of the times you visited us in Minnesota and in Michigan are some of my most cherished. He will always be in my heart, and I will never forget that smile.
