Shirley Repass DeBusk ABINGDON, Va. Shirley Repass DeBusk, age 73, a well-known Abingdon resident, died Fri day, Aug. 6, 2010 at her home in Abingdon. She was born Sept. 5, 1936, in Abingdon to Frank (Babe) Repass and Nell Walden Repass, who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William C. DeBusk Jr. She was a graduate of William King High School. After high school, she worked for Pet Milk Company for several years and later was co-owner of DeBusk Petroleum Company. After the death of her husband in 2005, she moved to Titusville, Fla., to be near her sister and nephews. She is survived by her sister, Mary Repass Colley and husband, Robert, of Titusville; a son, Chip McCall of Abingdon; nephews, Joe Mayer and wife, Jennifer, and their children, Aaron and Sarah, of Merritt Island, Fla.; Don Mayer and wife, Debbie, and their children, Rachael, Shannon and Shawn, of Merritt Island, Fla.; Gerry Mayer and wife, Marilee. and their children. Jeffrey, Emilee and Ryan of Winter Springs, Fla.; and Dan Mayer and wife, Angie. and their children. Katie, Daniel, Alisa, Anthony, Ashlyn and Wesley of Titusville; cousins, Ann Poole of Abingdon, Kevin Poole of Abingdon and Linda Russell and husband, Justin, of Winchester, Va.. A funeral service will be held Tuesday morning, Aug. 10, 2010, at 11 a.m., at the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum of the Knollkreg Memorial Park in Abingdon. The Rev. Luther Roberts will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday evening at the Frost Funeral Home.
