Stella Rose Breeding DAVENPORT, Va. Stella Rose Breeding, age 91, passed away Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010, at her home. She was born on March 7, 1919, to the late Marion and Mary Rose. A lifelong resident of Buchanan County, Va., she was a member of Free Christian Church of Big A Mountain. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Breeding; four sisters, Bell Ball (her twin), Martha Compton, Flossie Reynolds and Elsie Lambert; three brothers, Bascom Rose, Walter Presley and Franklin Rose; and two sons-in-law, Stanley Foor and Wilbert Rose. Stella is survived by five daughters, Wilma (Willard) Deel of Damascus, Va., Lois Rose of Ruby, Va., Nadene (Dan) Walker of Stafford, Va., Luella (John) Bartee of Lebanon, Va., Darlene (Barry) Miller of Davenport; six sons, Wayne (Kathy) Breeding, William (Darlene) Breeding, Fred (Pat) Breeding and Rickey (Audrey) Breeding, all of Davenport, Raymond Breeding of Lebanon, and Mickey (Alma) Breeding of Bee, Va.; 16 grandchildren, Brenda Hall, Barbara Klahn, Sandra Wise, Jeffrey Rose, Scott Foor, Steve Foor, Freddie Joe Breeding, Tracy Cook, Angela Miller, Jessica Ashworth, Amanda Vance, Amy Cozzolino, Kayla Breeding , Maggie Farmer, Carrie Vance and Coty Breeding; and 13 great-grandchildren also survive. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the hospice staff of Home Nursing Company of Lebanon, Angela Miller and Brenda Lester for the excellent care that was provided. The family would also like to thank pastor, Edward Tiller for his many visits and comfort to the family. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Edward Tiller and Rev. Claude Rose officiating. Interment will follow in the Breeding Cemetery at Davenport. Sons and grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Tuesday.
