Steven Huffard Olinger SALTVILLE, Va. Steven Huffard Olinger, age 51, went to be with his Lord, Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Eden and Vinnie Marshall; and his paternal grandparents, Roy and Clara Olinger. He is survived by his children, Jason Daniel Olinger and Tonya Marie Olinger; his former wife and best friend, Deborah Olinger, all of Cabot, Ark.; also surviving are his parents, Joebob and Betty Olinger, Saltville; and two sisters, Terri Frye, and Joannou Olinger, of Saltville; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was born April 18, 1959, in Saltville and attended R.B. Worthy High School where he graduated in 1978. Steve had a kind heart and a special love for life - he never met anyone who wasn't a friend. He will be missed on this side of life, but he is happily waiting by the river to meet us all someday. Funeral services for Steven Olinger will be Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, at 7 p.m. with visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Henderson Funeral Home in Saltville. Flowers will be appreciated or a memorial contribution may be made to the Saltville Rescue Squad. Online condolences may be made to drhendersonfuneralhome.com D.R. Henderson Funeral Home in Saltville is serving theSteven Olinger family.
