Teresa Lynn Minnick Stone ABINGDON, Va. Teresa Lynn Minnick Stone, age 43, passed away on Friday, Sept. 24, 2010, at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Jack L. Minnick and Pauline Hinchey Minnick and was also preceded in death by her brother, Richard Minnick. She was a true dog lover and enjoyed the special times with her animals. Survivors include her husband, Randy Lee Stone of Abingdon, Va.; one son, Brandon Stone; two sisters, Patsy McKee and husband Bill of Glade Spring, Va., and Donna Roberts of Abingdon, Va.; one brother, David Minnick and wife Tammy of Bristol Virginia; two very special nieces, Kaitlyn Minnick and Paige Bradley and a very special nephew, Todd Dunn. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and special friends who will truly miss this special lady. At the request of Teresa, there will be no visitation or funeral service but the family and friends will meet at the home of her parents, 860 Falcon Drive, Abingdon, Va., on Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010, from 4 - 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, family and friends may make donations in memory to the Teresa Stone Family, 860 Falcon Drive, Abingdon, VA 24210. The family would like to express their gratitude to Total Home Care and Hospice of Virginia and to the Medical College of Virginia for the love and kindness that was shown to Teresa and the family and to Dr. Hawkins for the care that was given to her during her illness.
