Thomas Russell Fleenor ABINGDON, Va. The funeral service for Thomas Russell Fleenor will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 2, 2010, in the Frost Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Walter Weikel and the Rev. Luther Roberts will officiate. Burial will follow at Knollkreg Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Gary Dutton, Duffy Carmack, Clark Hutton, C.B. Hale, Charlie Holmes, Jack Hemmings, Wayne Thayer and Mike Jones. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 246, Abingdon, VA 24212; the Abingdon United Methodist Church, 101 East Main Street, Abingdon, VA 24210; or Compassionate Care Hospice, 4340 Georgetown Square Suite 608, Atlanta, GA 30338, in memory of Thomas Russell Fleenor. Thomas Russell Fleenor, age 82, a well-known resident of Washington County, Va., passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2010, in Snellville, Ga. Frost Funeral Home of Abingdon is honored to serve the family of Thomas Russell Fleenor and online condolences may be submitted to his family at www.frostfuneralhome.com
