Walter Robert Pope BLOUNTVILLE, Tenn. Walter Robert Pope, 90, passed away at his home Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010, after a lengthy illness. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Beulah Pope of the home; sons, James Pope and Wife, Judy, of Blountville, and Billy Pope of Bristol; daughter, Deborah Cook and husband, Ben, of Bristol; grandchildren, Michael Pope, Kelly Pope, David Pope, and Stephanie Pope; great-grandchildren, Hannah Pope, Orbit Pope, Kingston Pope, Amber Miles, Ethan Miles; and several nieces and nephews. The family of Walter Robert Pope will recieve friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, 2010, at Tri-Cities Funeral Home, with funeral services being conducted at 8 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Michael Pope officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, at Tri-Cities Memory Gardens. Tri-Cities Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Walter Robert Pope.
