Dear Mary and Family, in the days of our youth all of us kids were close. As we grew older and each went our separate ways, it was only funerals, weddings and family reunions that brought us back together. But Walter, Billy and I always maintained a loving relationship. They were very special to me as special as any 1st cousin anyone could have. He will be missed. I'm sorry health issues prevents me from being there in person, but please know you are in my prayers. May God give you comfort that only He can give during this time. Love Thelma Lowe Owens and Dock and all our families.

Walter was a part of our family for as long as I can remember. His son & my brother were the best of friends. Walter always kept in touch with myself & my brother as my mother & grandmother have already gone on to be with the Lord.He will be missed. Our prayers & thoughts go out to his wife Mary, his son Johnny & the rest of his family. I just know he is up there in Heaven with our Nannie( Mrs. Felty & our mom Marie Meyers) he was always there for our family to help in any way. Mary he was a great friend to our grandmother after my grandfather passed away & to my mother. We will keep you & your family in our prayers.
