William "Bill" Charles Cunningham BRISTOL, Va. William "Bill" Charles Cunningham, age 58, went to be with the Lord at his residence on Friday, Nov. 20, 2009. He was born September 9, 1951, in Bristol Virginia. He had lived in Bristol all of his life and was the co-owner of Cunningham Concrete. He was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include: his wife of 40 years, Joyce Cunningham; daughter, Tammy Strouth and husband Joe; son, Billy Cunningham; parents, Calvin and Margaret Berry Cunningham; grandchildren, Reshia Weatherly, Austin Thomas, Hunter Cunningham, Kimberly Strouth, Aaron Strouth and Emily, we will miss you Papaw; sisters, Brenda Moore and husband Kent, Debbie Tanner, Ruth Ann Harmon and husband Tommy; brother, Calvin Cunningham Jr. and wife Sherry; aunts, Charlie Mae Berry and Lucille Carver; several wonderful nieces and a nephew. Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, 2009, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Dillard and Rev. Dwayne Locklear officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, at 11 a.m. Pallbearers will be Gary Wampler, Richard Darnall Lane, Tommy Harmon, Jeff Felty, Brad Cunningham and Danny Christian. The family would like to extend a special thanks to everyone for their love, prayers, and support. It saddens my heart to hear of Billy's passing, but joyful to know that he is in Heavan rejoycing.
