William Edward "Eddie" McDuffie BRISTOL, Tenn. William Edward "Eddie" McDuffie, age 55, passed away at his home Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, William A. McDuffie and Wanda McDuffie Hicks. He is survived by his son, William Travis McDuffie and wife Melanie Rosenbaum McDuffie; two grandsons, William Andrew McDuffie and Logan Alexander McDuffie. He is also survived by two brothers, Danny McDuffie and Michael McDuffie; two sisters, Debbie Worley and Gail Epperson; several nieces and nephews; also special friend, Sharen McGee. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Benny Bowman officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Bristol Humane Society, P.O. Box 1586, Bristol, VA. 24203. Online condolences may be registered at www.weaverfuneralhome.net Arrangements have been made with Weaver Funeral Home.
