William "Jack" Dolinger

William "Jack" Dolinger CHILHOWIE, Va. William (Jack) Dolinger, age 73, passed away on Friday, Oct. 22, 2010, at his home. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He was also an avid gardener and enjoyed time with his dog Muffin. He had retired from Marion Mold and Tool after 37 years of service. Mr. Dolinger served eight years in the United States Army Reserves. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Dolinger; and a son-in-law, Mike Rosenbaum. He is survived by: his wife, Charlsie Dolinger, Seven Mile Ford, Va.; two daughters, Kay Rosenbaum, Wytheville, Va., Kathy Jackson and husband Jerry, Chilhowie, Va.; one son, Glenn Dolinger and wife Carla, Chilhowie, Va.; four grandchildren and a step-grandson, Justin Rector and wife Whittney, Chilhowie, Va. Trevor Rector, Chilhowie, Va., Joshua Dolinger, Chilhowie, Va., Jessica Dolinger, Chilhowie, Va., Adam Jackson, Chilhowie, Va. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, from the Bradley's Funeral Chapel in Chilhowie with Pastor Bill McCollian officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral chapel. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at the Grosses Creek Cemetery.
