Happy Birthday Will

Janet, my condelences to you and your family. I first met William while working in the lobby at Commerce Bank and I made the mistake of calling him Bill, he quickly corrected me and we both laughed. It was then that our friendship began. You and i were pregnant at the same time (your first, my second) and that gave William and I a lot to talk about. After leaving the lobby in 96 I would only see Wiliam occasionally at the elevators or evenings when you would pick him up outside by the side door. It dawned on me a couple of months ago that I hadn't seen William but kept forgetting to ask around, then when I do well....I learn he has passed. I know this is late and please forgive me but I wanted you to know that he was so special, so caring, so genuine and i am a better person having known him. May the peace, love and comfort of the Holy Spirit, that only He can give, be with you and your family now and forever. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

Gone too soon, but very loved. I went to VCU with Will and he is one of the few people I've ever known who neither gave nor got any hassle from anyone. It was all good with Will. Funny, kind, generous, sincere and loyal. An exceptional man. I know he is blessed and with God in heaven.

Dear Janet
My prayers are with you and the girls. I know you will have a special angel watching over you and the girls. I just got word today, so sorry I was unable to attend the service. I am sure it will be very nice. If you ever need a road trip to Chicago I am sure my kids would love to play with the girls.
My best to you always,

Janet,
my prayers for God's comforting arms to surround you and your children. I believe that David is happy and healthy in heaven right now, but it is so hard for those left behind. I know as my children lost their father at the same age, 42......

Uncle Will left a remarkable impression on my life. He set a great example for me to follow as a father and a church supporter as well as an informed and involved citizen in the community. Alex and I well never forget the support you both offered so freely while I was stationed in Kansas. We love you and pray for you in this time of hardship. Love,
