Jerry Baylor McGlothlin PRINCETON, W.Va. Jerry Baylor McGlothlin, age 64, formerly of Richlands, Va., passed away Monday, Jan. 28, 2013. Born Aug. 6, 1948, in Richlands, he was the son of the late Joe and Margaret Crockett McGlothlin. He was a United States Navy Veteran. He was a coal miner and worked for Consol and Island Creek for 26 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Joann Miller; and father-in-law, Robert A. Mullins. He is survived by his wife, Lois Marie McGlothlin; his children, Jackie McGlothlin of Hillsville, Va., and Joe McGlothlin and Angelia Sullivan of Wheeling, W.Va.; two step daughters, Ann Allen and husband Rob of Greensboro, N.C., and Jaclyn Campbell and husband Dario of Eden, N.C.; three grandchildren, Peyton Allen, Kaitlyn Ferguson and Mikayla Crowder; mother-in-law, Lorine Mullins of Bluefield, W.Va.; special aunts, Gaye McGlothlin of Richlands and Lorraine Hess of Rocky Gap, Va.; uncle, Harry McGlothlin of Pounding Mill, Va.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Singleton Funeral Service Chapel at Cedar Bluff, Va., with the Rev. Dewayne Houk officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Va. Pallbearers will be Cliff Osborne, S.G. Altizer, Brent Compton, Joe McGlothlin, Barry White and John Helton. Honorary pallbearers will be Rob Allen, David Meskinsh and Arnold Mullins. Military graveside rites will be conducted by Casey-Shortt VFW Post 9640. The family will receive friends after 12 Noon on Saturday.
