JEAN HENDRICKSON Obituary
Jean Loomis Hendrickson, 89, died March 30 at Guardian Angel Homes in Richland. Jean was born February 11, 1923 in Cleveland, Ohio. She lived at Guardian Angel Homes for nearly three years and had previously lived in Kent and Seattle, Washington.
From 1985 to 2005 she spent winters at Sky Valley Park near Desert Hot Springs, California. Jean was an active tennis player for many years and also enjoyed boating, bible studies, and singing alto in her church choirs.
Jean is survived by sons Paul and wife Kay of Richland and Chris and wife Kathy of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and five grandsons: Jon, Jay, Drew, Tommy, and Peter. Jean was preceded in death by her husband Capt. Harold T. Hendrickson, U.S. Coast Guard retired, two brothers, three sisters, and a granddaughter.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Guardian Angel Homes and Kadlec Regional Medical Center and Dr. Kyawt Ayee for the care given to Jean.
A memorial service for Jean will be held at Shalom United Church of Christ, 505 McMurray, Richland at 4:30 p.m. on April 14.

We're so sorry to hear of your loss, Chris and Paul Hendrickson families. Jean was such a vibrant woman and I have many fond memories, including when she used to write me letters in college. She will be missed and I'm thankful to have known her. Love, Julie and Chris Brewer
