Linda passed away peacefully at home after losing her battle with cancer at the age of 51. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and especially her grandbaby, Addison. She loved swimming, dolphins, shopping and rooting for the Mariners. She worked for the Kennewick School District for 17 years as a bus aide. She and her twin sister, Brenda, were born to Ellis (deceased) and Anita Hamlett of Olympia, WA, and Columbia, TN.
She is survived by her husband of 33 yrs, Michael B Mitchell; daughters, Carrie & Adam Tabor, Michele & Gordon McCleary; sisters, Brenda Hamlett & Cindy Tobol; niece, Melissa Tobol; nephew, Nickolas Tobol; granddaughter, Addison Tabor and her dogs Phoebe, Piper and her baby Oso.
Her family would like to thank you for all the thoughts, prayers and support throughout her battle. The family will hold a private service on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Mueller's Chapel of the Falls, 314 W. 1st Ave. in Kennewick, Washington.
