HAZEL DIORIO Obituary

Hazel married Joe Diorio on February 28, 1942. They were married 65 years, and raised six children together. Hazel loved her family and enjoyed crocheting, animals, gardening and thrift shopping. She had a wonderful sense of humor.
Hazel was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on August 18, 1963. She looked forward to a paradise earth and shared that hope with others. (Luke 23:43)
She is survived by six children: Firstborn daughter, JoAnn Blair, her daughter Tina Heen (Kimo); greatgrandchildren: Maile & Malia; son, Mike (Natasha) Diorio; their children, Nakia, Azure (Eric), Mario (Tasha), David (Leeann), Katherine, Mia (Zach) & Talia. greatgrandchildren: Adasyn, Joey, Taelyn & Xavier. Her daughter, Tracy (Alan) Waln, children Kevin, Megean Cromer & great-grandchild Avah. Daughter Laurie Gauny & husband Carl, children: Bert, Eric & Arial & great grandson, Slade. Her son Joel Diorio (Rosie) & children Leeandra, Joel Jr. and Presca, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Tony Joe (1963), and her husband Joe (2010).
Thank you Tonya, family and crew for taking such good care of Mom. And Peggy the Hospice nurse, thank you.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2120 N. Road 28 in Pasco.

i remember summers with you and uncle joe when i was young i always looked forward to them i remember when you moved to tri cities and i could not visit as much and then not at all i missed you. i know you are in a better place with uncle joe and tony and i will see you again someday. edna young-mask
