Michael Angel Hernandez, also known as Big Mike, was born to Teresa Hernandez and Alejandro Ortiz on April 14, 1990, in San Bernardino, California. Michael was the oldest of the seven siblings and a graduate of Pasco High School in 2009. Michael Hernandez and his family have resided in Pasco for five years. Michael enjoyed playing video games, listening to music, and loved low riders. He also enjoyed BBQ at the river with friends and family, exercising, and singing his heart out to his favorite artist, Jose Alfredo Jimenez. He loved watching movies with his little brothers and sisters and enjoyed eating mom's home cooked meals. Although he was a big person, Michael had a huge heart. He never judged, but only loved those who surrounded him. He was all about family, and making others happy. Michael was already enrolled to attend CBC later on this fall.
Michael's presence is survived by his mother Teresa Hernandez, his step father Armando Chavez, and his siblings Linda, Pedro, Stephanie, Christian, and Erma, and Armando Chavez Jr; whom currently reside in Pasco, also by his 26 aunts and uncles and 71 cousins and 54 second cousins.
Michael Angel Hernandez is preceded in death by his grandparents, Santos Hernandez Estrada and Maria Teresa Hernandez. Michael, we will never forget your smile, your laugh, the way you talked, and the way you loved. You are our angel now and we know you will be watching us from Heaven as you did on earth. We will never forget the times that we've shared. God will never put something in our paths that He knows we won't be able to handle. We love you Michael Angel Hernandez, REST IN PEACE 4/14/1990-4/23/2011. Flowers arranged and provided by Pasco High School Flower Shop. Thank You and God Bless Everyone.
The viewing for Michael will be Tuesday, May 3, 2011, from 3 to 8:00 p.m. at Mueller's Greenlee Funeral Home in Pasco with the Rosary at 6:00 p.m. The funeral service will be Wednesday, May 4, at 12:00 p.m. at Faith Assembly Christian Center, 1800 N Rd. 72 in Pasco. Viewing will begin at the church on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. until the service begins. Interment will follow services at City View Cemetery. Please join us after the burial at Faith Assembly Christian Center for a gathering in honor of Michael.

I did not know Michael personally but I did know him through his step father Armando. Michael was spoken highly of and was loved by his family. I am sorry for the families loss and pray that God will give you all a peace at this time to heal and be restored.
