Smith Funeral Home LTD and Crematory

Carl Edward Schultz of Sunnyside, WA, was born December 17, 1925, and relaxed into painless sleep on March 11, 2011. Carl was born in Oaksdale, WA, but lived most of his life in Sunnyside, WA, where he raised his family.

Those left to hold his memory forever in their hearts are his loving wife and main caregiver, Lucille Graham Schultz, son Edward M. Schultz and wife Cindy of Boise, ID; son Howard C. Schultz and wife Ursula of Vancouver, WA; and daughter Carmin L. Schultz Reese and husband Greg with grandchildren Madeline and Kiersten of Port Trevorton, PA; his grandchildren, Ryan Schultz and wife Katie of Boise, ID; and Emily Schultz Carper and husband Colby of Salt Lake City, UT. His surviving siblings are Erma (Aggie) Schultz Leiske of Walla Walla, WA; Clara Schultz Tall of Medford, OR; David Schultz of Pasco, WA; Esther Schultz Davie of Brush Prairie, WA; and May Schultz Blasdel of Pasco, WA. Hewas preceded in death by brothers Elmer, Reuben, Clarence and Walter and a sister, Helen Schultz Miller.

In lieu of flowers, you may choose to contribute to the Grandview Adventist Food Bank. Services are being arranged by Smith's Funeral Home of Sunnyside, WA. A service to honor his life will be held at 4 o'clock on Saturday afternoon, March 19, 2011, at the Grandview Washington Seventh-day Adventist Church at 106 North Elm Street. There will be a viewing at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, on Friday from 4-7 p.m., where friends may offer condolences to the family and again at 3 p.m. on Saturday at the Grandview SDA Church just prior to the service.
