Esteban Bautista Mendez passed away January 11, 2011, in Kennewick, Washington. He was 51 years old. Esteban was born July 1, 1959, to Jesus and Epifania Mendez in Michoacan, Mexico. He married Martha Sanders on May 23, 2009. He worked as a laborer.

Esteban enjoyed working in his yard, playing soccer, spending time with family, riding his bike, listening to music and dancing. He was a wonderful husband and very caring father, he always loved to joke around. He will be forever missed.

Mendez of Kennewick, WA; Cristina Mendez of Kennewick, WA; Esteban Mendez Jr. of Richland, WA; Crystal Mendez of Kennewick, WA; Alisa Mendez of Kennewick, WA; Jesus Mendez of Kennewick, WA; Shirl Cano of Richland, WA; Juan Daniel-Cano of Richland, WA; Monica Baird of Oregon; Natalica Campusano of Pasco, WA; Danielia Cano, Yania Cano, Dony Baird-Cano of Richland, WA; Micheal Thomas of Oregon; Phoebe Northup of Oregon; John Sanders of Oregon; Debbie Sanders of Oregon; Ramon Mendez, Jose R. Mendez; Jesus A. Mendez, Lila M. Mendez, Chelsie Mendez, Griselda Guadalupe Mendez, Martin Gonzalez, Juan A. Gonzalez, Adriana Gonzalez, Angel Gonzalez, Audiel Mendez, Ana Valencia, Ana Belen-Mendez, Antonio Mendez,Epifania Mendez, and Jose Mendez and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Esteban was preceded in death by Jesus Mendez Alcanta, Lavonlia Aderholt, Delmarlee Sanders, Roy Aderholt, Jimmy Lee Sanders, Fidelina Bautista Garcia and Maria Garcia.

Viewing will be held Thursday, January 20, from 12:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Columbia Memorial Chapel. A Rosary will be held 6:00 p.m. Thursday, January 20, 2011, also at Columbia Memorial Chapel.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 21, 2011, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Pasco. The burial will immediately follow services at Columbia Memorial Gardens in Pasco.
