Judy Bell passed away at her home after a long struggle with Parkinson's on February 27, 2011, at the age of 67. Judy was born in Compton, CA, on April 30, 1943, to parents Alva and Frieda Eply Tunnell. Judy and her husband Kent met in CA and were married on Christmas Eve in 1986.
Judy owned and operated a 'Mail Boxes Etc.' in Pismo Beach for 10 years.
With the children raised, Kent's profession allowed them both to travel and live across the U.S. Judy was able to pursue her love of and join the local Women's Bible Study groups wherever she went and was able to make instant friends. She enjoyed the travel and all the sights, always wanting to get off track to visit any waterfall on the map.
Her love of cooking and entertaining was a joy to all her friends and family. She enjoyed quilting, decorating her home and almost any kind of craft. Judy was a member of the Bechtel Women's Group and kept many friends within the organization.
Judy was full of love, life and all heart. If you came in contact with her, you couldn't help but love her. She will be missed by us all.
Judy is survived by her husband Kent Bell and sister Linda Tunnell; children, Chantelle Baker, Mathew Myers, Ryan Myers, Jana Kimble, ShaRee Tinkle, and Melissa Herring as well as nine grandchildren.
Judy is preceded in death by her mother and father; sister, Charlene Britton and son John Bell.
