Kathryn went to the white sandy beach with footprints in the sand on Feb 2, 2011. Survived by husband, Doug Wissman, 5 children, Christopher Wissman (Yakima, WA), David Wissman (Portland, OR), Michelle Wissman (Yakima, WA), Courtney Hamilton (Coeur d' Alene, ID), and Caitlin Hamilton (Benton City, WA), her Father and Mother Norman and Patricia Cooper (Lewiston, ID), Brother Bill Cooper (San Fransico, CA), and 5 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother Mardell Cooper.

Kathryn was a very loving and caring wife, mother and daughter. She spoiled her husband and all 5 kids, her life revolved around taking care of her family. In her youth she was an accomplished actress and singer; she loved music and had the voice of an angel. She was the lead in many high school plays and musicals. She graduated from Lewiston High School in Lewiston ID in 1979. She married Michael Hamilton and later divorced. Kathryn married Doug Wissman on August 26, 2000; Doug was the love of Kathryn's life.

Kathryn's favorites were her husband and kids followed closely by traveling to tropical beaches. Kathryn and her husband returned 3 weeks ago from a vacation in Puerto Vallarta. At the time of her death she was already planning next January's annual vacation. She would spend hours researching resorts on line, with her favorite dog, Tinkerbell, always in her lap.

Kathryn was very strong willed and always the life of the party. She loved riding Harley's, always on the back. She would always push her husband to ride faster. The crazier the better for her. You could always count on Kathryn for a great meal and an ice cold shot of tequila. She always made everyone feel at home, from people she had met holding signs reading 'will work for food' to friends and family and was always trying to help someone. Bikers riding through town always had a place to stay from 1%ers to weekend warriors, all were welcome. She had a laugh that was infectious and was always in a great mood, even when in pain. Kathryn will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Memories at Sunset Event Center, 915 Bypass Hwy, Richland, WA.
