Dear Nancy and Susan,
I was so sad to hear that your mom is no longer with us. My prayers are with you both.
Even though I moved away over 20 years ago (wow, can't believe it's been that long), she always kept in touch with her fun cards and letters. It was so nice seeing her on my many trips to Kennewick. I really enjoyed her company and will miss her.
I know the next few months will be very difficult for you, but I hope you both relive some happy memories in spite of the sadness. I can't help but feel your mother is now happily reunited with her great friends Billie and John, who she always mentioned in her letters to me. I know how close all the Dorans have been to her, and in return, she offered a cherished link to their parents. Her loss is felt by many more than you maybe can even imagine.
So please accept my deepest sympathy and prayers, and know that your mother's love and pride in both of you and your children was constant. She will always be in my heart.
