MICHAEL BEAVERS Obituary

Mike fought a courageous battle with diabetes and a heart condition, and went to be with his Lord and family March 8, 2011.

Mike was born February 1, 1940, at Milford, IL. to Lowell M. and LaVonne Goudy Beavers.

Mike worked at Hanford in Richland, WA, for 21 years. He served in the Air Force for 21 years and retired as Senior Master Sergeant Michael L. Beavers.

Mike's favorite pastimes were eagle watching, a fascination with trains, and love of family and traveling.

Mike is survived by his wife of seven years, Terri L. Beavers, Richland, WA; ex-wife, Lura L. Beavers; and children: Lynne Hodge (Bob), and their daughter Maeghan; Michell Sidwell (Darrel); Lana Hefner and her son Courtland, San Antonio, TX; stepchildren: John Headrick Jr., Rachel Headrick, and step-granddaughter, Maradaya of Oregon; sisters, Linda Klemme (John), Barbara Davis (Jim) and brothers, Tom Beavers (Susie), Ben Newman (deceased) and wife Ginny and several nieces and nephews, and ex-wife Eva Upchurch.

A military service is pending at Medical Lake, WA, Washington State Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Veteran's Organizations or the Air Force Museum.
