MICHAEL MOORE Obituary

Michael Mathew Moore of Burbank, Washington, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2011, in Kennewick, Washington, surrounded by family and friends after a nine-month battle with cancer. He was born on February 23, 1950, in Rhame, North Dakota, to Florence and Wayne Moore.

He will be remembered always by his wife, Karyl Moore; son Mathew Moore, and adopted daughter Reya Wright; also his brothers, Wayne Moore and Charles Patrick Moore (Morgan). His sister Noelle, aunt Mildred, cousin Sharon and a host of other family and friends will all miss him dearly.

He spent his youth growing up on a farm in North Dakota. He and his family later moved to Sunnyside, Washington, before settling in Pasco, Washington. He graduated from Pasco High in 1968 and CBC in 1970. He went on to attend Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington.

During his life he enjoyed fly fishing, chess and a good game of Whist, Cribbage and sharing stories about his life. But most importantly, he lived by what he said and he cared for everyone.

The family would like to thank the Tri-City Cancer Center for its patience, D.. Icaboni, Kadlec Hospital, but more importantly, the Hospice Center and Nurses Bonnie and Cindy for giving support to the family during this hard time.

There will be no services. A private celebration of his life for close family and friends will be held at a later day.

'I will always love you'
