RANDY PETERSON Obituary

August 8, 1960 - April 17, 2011

Moses Lake, Wash.

Randy Eugene Peterson, 50, of Moses Lake, lost a hard fought battle with cancer April 17, 2011. Randy was born August 8, 1960, in Emmett, Idaho, to Richard Earl and Laura Ann (Jennings) Peterson and grew up in Kennewick, WA.

He worked as a carpet installer and a welder for many years before taking on the job of a stay at home Dad. Randy was a very talented artist, loved to bass fish and make improvements in his home and yard to make a beautiful and fun place for his family to enjoy and share, but his passion was spending time with his children.

He was active member of the Potholes Bass Club and volunteered at Knolls Vista Elementary School and Fishing Kids events.

Randy is survived by his wife Dorothy, children Jerramiah and Elizabeth, parents Richard and Laura Peterson of Grandview, WA; brothers Dean Bales of Wasilla, Alaska, John Peterson of Milford, Massachusetts, Rick Peterson of North Plains, OR; sister Sherri Gordon of Tacoma, WA; and parents by love Gary and Opal Lamar of Moses Lake.

There will be an Open House at the Peterson home Saturday April 30, 2011, at 1:00 p.m.
