THERON WRIGHT Obituary


Theron K. (Tex) Wright Jr. went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 21, 2011. He was a Journeyman upholsterer of over 55 years. Theron was born on September 16, 1928, in Cathlamet, Washington, to parents Theron K. Wright Sr, and Kathleen Hope Wright, where he attended Cathlamet Elementary School. Theron moved with his family to Forks, Washington, where he graduated from Forks High School. He met and later married Mary Ruth Parsons in December 1947. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp and also served in the Korean War 1951-1952. They lived in Corvalis, Oregon, for ten years and moved the family to Pasco in 1963.

He is preceded in death by daughter Ginger Lynette, his parents and brother Jack.

He is survived by his wife Mary Ruth of 63 years, sons Michael of Toledo, OR, David (Linda) of Selah, WA, daughter Linda (Steven) O'Hair of Kennewick, WA. Also six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He walked many, many miles with his four-legged friends, especially after retirement. There was Joe, Kelly, Bud, J.J. and even Little Truck. He never forgot them. He will be missed by family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 27, at 11:00 a.m. at the livingroom Community Church, 711 Vineyard Dr. Kennewick, WA. In lieu of flowers, we invite you to donate to the D.A.V. or charity of your choice.
