Prosser Funeral Home & Crematory

Tyler John Shaw, 43, of Prosser, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2011, at his home.

He was born on August 3, 1967, in Ellensburg, Washington, to N. Dennis Shaw and Lanae (Bostwick) Shaw. He was raised and educated in Prosser and then attended business college and became a bookkeeper. Tyler married Sandra Rae Adams in Yakima on August 22, 1998. The couple then made their home in East Wenatchee. Tyler worked at various places as a bookkeeper, the last at Wells & Wade Mechanical. They moved back to Prosser last year where Tyler worked as a bookkeeper for Horse Heaven Hills Truck Stop.

Tyler loved duck hunting, fishing, camping, football and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of twelve years, Sandey Shaw of Prosser; six children, Amanda O'Neill, age 25 of Prosser; Megan O'Neill, age 22 of Prosser; Timmie O'Neill, age 21 of Richland; Seth O'Neill ,age 18 of Richland; Donovan Shaw, age 21 of Kennewick; Darien Shaw, age 19 of Kennewick; and one grandson, Kayden Harless of Prosser. Tyler is also survived by his father and step-mother, Dennis and Cheryl Shaw of Port Angeles; sister, Tanya Cone and her husband, Wayne, of Prosser, and their children, Stan, Katy and Zack Cone; sister, Thersea Taylor and her husband, Shean, of Port Angeles and their children Autumn and Eric; brother, Corey Shaw of Seattle; step-siblings Jim, Lisa and Jed Cory. He was preceded in death by his mother and his grandparents.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Prosser Funeral Home & Crematory is handling cremation arrangements. As Tyler loved hunting, memorial contributions may be made to Ducks Unlimited.
