Barbara LaBounty Obituary

MALTA - Barbara N. LaBounty, 73, passed Friday, April 26, 2013, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. After an 11-month struggle with cancer, she will now join our Lord and her beloved husband, Ronnie.
Born Aug. 4, 1939, in Hudson, she is the daughter of the late James and Lillian Kosa.
Barbara was predeceased by her son, Paul Writer; her grandson, Scott Alan; and her brother, Ronald Kosa.
She was employed by Market Strategies International in Clifton Park for the past 12 years.
The family wishes to offer a special thanks to Pat and Helen for their kind and compassionate care.
Barbara is survived by her children, Diane Writer of Albany, Raymond (Gwen) of Tennessee, Stephen Baldwin of Troy, Deborah of Albany and Ronald (Yanira) Writer of Las Vegas; her special granddaughters, Victoria and Vanessa; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is the sister of James (Grace) of Florida and Phillip (Claudette) Kosa of Vermont.
Calling hours will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A prayer service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence St., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866, in memory of Barbara N. LaBounty.
