Caroline M. Comi COHOES - Caroline M. Comi 99 died peacefully Monday April 25, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Cohoes and a life long resident she was daughter of the late Francisco and Philonena Morante Vega. She was wife of the late Joseph Dom Comi.Ca roline had attended Cohoes Schools. She had been a homemaker and active member of the former St. Rita/ Sacred Heart Parish in Cohoes and a member of the church rosary society. She loved camping with her family, cooking, playing cards, bingo and scrabble and working the St. Rita’s annual bazaar. Survived by her loving children Thomas R. Comi, Carol A (Jack) Leffler and Philip J. (Bill Pearse) Comi. Sister of Sylvia Conboy and the late Philip, John, Alfred and Helen Vega. Grandmother of Tom (Lauren) Comi, Gary (Melissa) Comi, Diane (Fred) Peratt and Lori (Jonathan) Tombari. Greatgrandmother of Abigail, Zachary, Sophie and Aidan Comi and Shaun Peratt. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9am from St. Mary’s Church Crescent. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery Waterford. Calling hours are Friday from 4-8 at the Marra Funeral Home. The family would like to offer a sincere thank you to the Gariepy family, Linda Christopher and the caregivers from All Metro. Champagne, Joseph* - Wilmington  
Joseph S. Champagne WILMINGTON, NC - Joseph S. Champagne, PE, 82, died peacefully at home on April 2, 2016. He was a proud graduate of LaSalle Institute, class of 1951 and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute class of 1955. After commissioning he proudly served on active duty and in the reserves with the US Navy. He earned Master’s degrees from Yale University and RPI. Joe became a licensed Professional Engineer, was a world renowned traffic engineering design consultant and expert witness in accident reconstruction. It was his true passion. Joe loved his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary K. (Marky) Liston Champagne, and his adored children: Joseph R. Champagne (Susan) of Washington State, Elizabeth M. Walsh (Christopher T. Maier) and Mark P. Walsh (Anne) of Troy, Daniel W. Champagne (Susan) of Mohegan Lake, and Christopher R. Walsh (Jennifer) of Guilderland. Joe is also survived by his sister, Lucy Ann Bryant (Wendell) of Georgia, nine grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Keith J. Champagne (Nancy) of Troy. A private service was held. Contributions may be made in Joe’s memory to LaSalle Institute, 174 Williams Road, Troy, New York 12180. Corbeil, Joseph* - Troy  
Joseph Israel Corbeil Joseph Israel Corbeil passed away peacefully on April 21, 2016. Joseph was born May 23, 1928, the son of Louise Perry Corbeil, and Israel Joseph Corbeil. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1947 to 1955. Joe graduated from college in 1959, and worked as an engineer for ten years. He also graduated from Bridgewater State Teachers College, obtaining a Masters Degree in education. He was President of Delta Kappa Phi Fraternity. Joe loved directing and performing many musical’s and shows during his whole life. Joe taught at Catholic Central High School for several years until he retired. He is predeceased by his wife, Janet Bowes Corbeil, his brother, Richard Albert Corbeil, and his sister Jacqueline Corbeil. He leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and best friend, Henry Boursier. Corrigan, Joan* - Clifton Park  
Joan H. Van Deursen Corrigan CLIFTON PARK – Joan H. Van Deursen Corrigan, 80, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at St. Mary’s Hospital on April 24, 2016. Joan was born at home in North Brunswick, New Jersey, she was the daughter to the late Ferdinand W. Van Deursen, Sr. and Helen Space Van Deursen and was the loving wife of almost 60 years to Joe-Fran Corrigan of Clifton Park. Joan moved to the Troy area in June 1944, she graduated from Lansingburgh High School, class of 1953 and New York State Institute at Cobleskill, class of 1956. She was a homemaker and mom, also working with her husband in his State Farm Insurance agency in Lansingburgh. She was active in PTA of the Lansingburgh School District, a former active member of Trinity Church in Lansingburgh and a current member of St. George’s Episcopal Church in Clifton Park. Joan also was a member of the Hudson Mohawk Road Runners Club and Adirondack Running Club. To celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary they formed two marathon relay teams with their sons, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren and together ran the Lake Placid Marathon. Joan and Fran crossed the finish line hand-in-hand. The Corrigan teams supported the “Run for Dad” team for Prostate Cancer awareness and early detection. In addition to her loving husband Fran, she is survived by her beloved sons Michael T. (Wendy Ott) Corrigan of Troy and Thomas J. Corrigan of Pittsfield, MA, her cherished grandchildren Kelsey J. Corrigan and Graeme K. Corrigan, her brother Ferdinand W. (Harriet) Van Deursen, Jr. of Olympia, WA, and her nieces Pam Van Deursen and Cindy Van Deursen. Joan was also loving aunt to Renee Archambault, Denise (Glen) Mikkelsen, Michele Moore and their families. Joan was predeceased by her infant daughter Patricia Joy Corrigan. Funeral services will be private. The family will be forever grateful for the care and compassion she received from the nurses and staff at St. Mary’s Hospital 5th Floor, Community Hospice and Eddy Heritage House Rehabilitation Center.
