James T. Erdman-Kane

James T. Erdman-Kane TROY - James T. Erdman-Kane, 13, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, due to complications from Juvenile Diabetes. James was born in Albany on September 2, 1999 to his loving parents; Michelle L. Erdman-Kane and Thomas J. Kane, both of Troy. James was a member of the Class of 2013 at Knickerbacker Middle School in Lansingburgh which graduated earlier this week. He was a great explorer of nature, a tree hugger, wanted to save the planet and animals, loved everyone unconditionally, was innocent, loved rocks, was a fossil hunter, loved technology which he was learning at Lansingburgh High School, learning Spanish at school and then going home and teaching his parents Spanish, had and cared for assorted animals at home, and most of all, was always looking out for his sister, Chelsea. Beloved son of Michelle and Thomas, devoted brother of Chelsea, cherished grandson of Steven S. and Candace S. Erdman of Bradenton, FL, adored great grandson of Harold H. Erdman of Bradenton, FL and Joseph E. Shaw of Toronto, CA, also survived by many friends from school and in the community. A Celebration of James Life will take place on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., (Corner of 115th Street and Fourth Avenue) in Lansingburgh. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home on Sunday from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. Cremation will be held on Monday at the Gardner Earl Crematory at Oakwood Cemetery in Troy.
