Margaret (Peggy) Hunter Miele COLONIE - Today July 21, 2013 with saddened hearts ,we honor the death of Margaret (Peggy) Hunter Miele ,beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Born on October 14, 1927, Peggy grew up in South Troy and attended St. Joseph's School and Catholic Central High School .In 1949 she was married to Joseph Miele of Troy .She was married at St. Joseph's Church as were her mother and grandmother. Peggy was loved by all and was known for her ready smile and infectious laughter. She never met a stranger and greeted family and friends and neighbors with open arms. Peggy loved Maine but was happiest at home surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her devoted daughters Susan Miele Szesnat of Guilderland, Joann Miele of Colonie, her granddaughters Danielle Szesnat and Erin Szesnat Clark, her great grandsons Conner Traeger and Landon Clark, her sisters Mary Coffey of Roswell GA and Madelyn Collins of Hudson MA and countless nieces and nephews. She was pre- deceased by her husband Joseph Miele ,her sisters Etta Walsh and Dorothy Smith and her brother Frederick Hunter Peggy's family is grateful to Nina Lane and the Hospice Team and her therapist Karen Curran who provided care and comfort . The family would like to especially thank Dr. Richard Ginsburg . The funeral service for Peggy will be held on Wednesday morning at 10 am at St. Joseph's Church in South Troy where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated .Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery Troy .There are no viewing hours. The family asks that donations be made to Albany Hospice in lieu of flowers. Arrangements By The Wm.
