Memories of David

Running to keep up with him while he walked me home from Powers Elementary; he was 12 and I was 6.

Ice Skating at Knickerbockers; my skates were too big so he stuffed them with newspaper.

Teaching me Algebra; he was so patient.

Quizzing my first date; the way only a brother can.

He loved me and I loved him. He was my big brother.

David used to come and visit us with his bag of science tricks. The children thought he was truly magic. And he was. We shall miss him. May you rest in peace.

David was a good brother. He always reminded both Nick and me tbat he played college basketball for Union College--which he did very well. He was loving and generous and we will all miss him very much. He was really a great brother.

Uncle Dave was very special, he had a certain quality that set him apart from other people. He loved his family and we loved him. He was a very good brother to my Dad, who always referred to Uncle Dave as his kid brother (even in their eighties!). We will all miss him. My deepest sympathies to Aunt Helen, Ruth Ann, Todd, Chris, LeeAnn and their families.

Uncle Dave was not just an Uncle, but a great friend and big brother to me as well. In my youth he taught me many, many things about life which have guided me throughout adulthood. He taught by example. He was also a really funny guy.
I will miss him deeply, but the memories of being in his company will forever be vivid and cheerful.
Condolences (from my son Nick as well) to Aunt Helen, Todd, Chris, Leeann and to the spouses and grandchildren.
Rest in peace, Uncle Dave.
