George L. Patrick TROY – George L. Patrick, 65, of Lansingburgh died peacefully on July 17, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital with his loving family by his side. Born in Troy he was the son of the late Edward J. Patrick Sr. and Mary Doherty Patrick and the devoted husband of Linda Pollay Patrick of Lansingburgh. Mr. Patrick was a graduate of St. Augustine's School, Lansingburgh High School and received his Associates Degree from Hudson Valley Community College. He proudly served in the US Navy from 1965 to 1968 and was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Lansingburgh. George was retired from the Ford Motor Company, Sheldon Road Plant in Plymouth,MI. Survivors in addition to his wife include his children, George Patrick (Janis) of Troy, Shawn Patrick (Nicole) of Rensselaer, Travis Patrick of Cohoes, Victoria Paul of Troy, Colleen Trapasso (Todd) of Marietta, NY, Michael Zareski of Baltimore, MD and Corey Zareski of Troy, siblings, Allyce J. Wohlleber (late Gerald) of Florida, David J. Patrick (Sharon) of Florida, Ann M. Patrick of Rensselaer, Andrew A. Patrick of Rensselaer, Timothy C. Patrick (Gina) of Houston,TX, sisters in law, Frances DeLair (Lee) of Ballston Spa, Ann Riddell of Troy and Theresa Sitts (Mark) of Melrose, 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. George was predeceased by his sister, Mary Kay Uscky (Stephen), Edward J. Patrick (Alice), Michael Patrick (Georgette), Joseph F. Patrick and Martin P. Patrick. The family would like to thank George's special friend Ron Roth and the 5th floor Doctors and Nurses at St. Mary's Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 9:30 am from St. Augustine's Church where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Friends are invited and may call at the Frank P. McDonald & Son Funeral Home 870 Second Avenue (124th & 125th Streets) in Lansingburgh on Sunday from 3 to 6 pm. The internment will be in the Gerald BH Solomon National Cemetery in Schuylerville.
