Catherine P. Neville Kurick TROY – Catherine P. Neville Kurick, 88, died peacefully Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy. Born in Troy on March 13, 1925, Catherine was raised by her grandmother, Catherine Sullivan. A lifelong resident of Troy, she attended St. Francis DeSales School and graduated from Catholic Central High School. She was employed by General Electric in Schenectady, William’s Press in Menands and by Samaritan Hospital in Troy as a unit secretary on the 7th floor for 17 years before retiring 23 years ago. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Victory Church in Troy and was a member of the Eastside Seniors in Troy. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports and loved to dance. She was the beloved wife of 65 years of the late Harold A. Kurick who died July 6, 2013, loving mother of Gayle (Richard) Graber of Brunswick, Robert (Jen Fletcher) Kurick of Niskayuna and Patricia (Michael) Camprone of Troy, adored grandmother of Melissa Graber, Kevin (Tina) Graber, Duke (Stacey) Kurick, Cleo Kurick, J.P. (Missy) Ryan, Eric (Shannan) Ryan, Shawn Ryan, Mary (Scott) Camprone and Jessica Camprone, great grandmother of Jason and Caitlyn Dinardo, Amelia Kurick, Caleb and Emma Brunick and Mia Alread, sister of James and William Neville and the late John Neville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Thursday at 9:30 am from the Doran Funeral Home, 9 South Lake Avenue, Troy and at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Victory Church, Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers and due to cemetery restrictions, the family requests contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association, 4 Pine West Plaza, Suite 405, Washington Avenue Extension, Albany, NY 12205.
