PLANT CITY, Fla. - Frances I. Adams, 89, a former Sixth Avenue resident, died Thursday, April 25, 2013, at Coventry Assisted Living.
Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Burton G. Adams and Bessie Scouler Adams.
Frances was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Japan and Washington, D.C., during the Korean War.
She was an accountant with Behr Manning Norton Co.
She was a member of the Veterans of Lansingburgh and American Legion No. 1450 in Halfmoon.
Fran was a member of the former First Presbyterian Church of Lansingburgh.
She is survived by her brother, Simon B. Adams of Troy.
She was predeceased by her sister, Eleanor Rohenaz.
Funeral services will be private.
Burial will be at Gerald B.H. Solomon-Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.
