George "Jonathan" Badger Obituary
TROY - George "Jonathan" Badger, 31, of Troy passed away Friday, August 23, 2013, in an automobile accident with his fiancee, Crystal Yerdon.
Born in Troy, he was the son of George G. Badger of Troy and Billie Bowen of Seattle, Wash., and stepson of Elizabeth Lecuyer Badger of Troy.
Raised and educated in Troy, Jonathan recently moved to Hoosick Falls. He worked construction in the area for several years.
Jonathan was a motorcycle enthusiast. He loved camping and was an animal lover. He was a friend whose loyalty was constant. His exuberance for life will be missed by all who knew him. He loved his family and will be missed by his stepchildren.
Survivors in addition to his parents, George, Billie and Elizabeth, include four brothers, Cody Badger of Mechanicville and Joseph Badger, Dalton Badger and Mark Waters, all of Troy; two sisters, Brook Badger of Troy and Crystal Waters of Mechanicville; Kayleigh Bowen of Washington; stepbrother Harold Lashway of Buskirk; grandparents Edward and Kathleen Kyea of Mechanicville, Kay Lewanick of Texas, William and Yvette Bowen of Texas; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins "cuzzos."
He was predeceased by his grandfather, George Badger Sr.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home at the corner of 109th Street and Third Avenue in Lansingburgh, with the Rev. Brenda Tompkins officiating.
Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Troy.
Calling hours will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
