Gloria Anderson TROY - Gloria Mennhennett Anderson, 81, Fourth Avenue resident, died Monday, October 14, 2012 at Albany Memorial Hospital. Born in Lockawanna Co., Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Menhennett and Mary Jode Nestell and wife of the late Clinton V. Anderson who died in 1999. Raised in Binghamton, she was a homemaker most of her life. Gloria was a woman of prayer, who leaves behind a rich legacy of a life of goodness. She continued to minister her family and her friends with her welcoming words, poems and her gracious smile. She enjoyed bible study, writing poetry, puzzles and the Cohoes Eddy Day Break. Survivors include a daughter Marlene C. Anderson Ciccarelli, son in law Mark, who were her caregivers, a son John D. Anderson (Kim) all of Troy. two grandsons James Joseph Quenneville, of FL, John David Lee Anderson of Troy, great grandchildren Keara, Kevin, and Erik Quenneville all of Florida, four sisters Jessie, Joyce, Gwen and Renee all of Florida, a brother Stephen Menhennett and several nieces and nephews. Gloria was predeceased by a son Vincent M. Anderson, great granddaughter Aerabella Anderson, and a brother James Menhennett Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109th Street and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh with Pastor Ron Vincent, officiating. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday morning prior to the service from 9 to 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Troy. Memorial donations to the Greater Albany SDA Church, 298 St. Agnes Hwy, Cohoes, NY 10247, would be appreciated.
