MALO, HELEN COHOES - Helen F. Kelly Malo, 95, of Church St. Cohoes died Thursday February 10, 2011 at Van Rensselaer Manor, Troy NY. Born in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Helen Kelly and beloved wife of 65 years to the late Harold L. Malo. Helen was a life long resident of Cohoes and was educated in the Cohoes Schools. A dedicated and caring homemaker, Helen gained all she needed in life by simply being with her family. She enjoyed cooking for them and treasured their love. She is survived by her loving daughter Helen F. Wilcox and her finance Joseph Sharkey of Cohoes, cherished grandchildren, Laurie (Marcial III) Charbonneau of Saratoga and Darryl J. Rabideau of Clifton Park, adored great-grandchildren, Dylan Rabideau and Marcial Charbonneau IV, siblings, Elizabeth Fedorenshanko, Margaret Mitale, Eileen LaBarge, John Kelly all of Cohoes, Theresa Erno and James Kelly both of Clifton Park, Harold Kelly of Watervliet and Robert Kelly of Schenectady and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Dorothy Erno, Frank and Walter Kelly. Funeral from the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ltd 105 Vliet Blvd Cohoes Monday morning at 8:30. Mass of Christian Burial from Holy Trinity Parish at 9 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Cohoes. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Sunday from 4-7 PM.
