The more I read the thoughts of people that were touched by Jill the more my eyes filled with tears. As family members, we all know of her many qualities and to see so many people that knew and experienced those qualities in their lives also, is wonderful.
From time to time we may wonder what our purpose in life is. What greater purpose can there be than to have touched so many people in the way Jill did?

I remember all of the great friendship that Jill and I shared through elementary school and high school. She always had the brightest smile and such a loving sense of humor. I will always remember Jill as one of those people you hoped to run into on a bad day. She had a way of lifting everyone's spirit and even though she had so many trials of her own, she was a great testimony to the strength we can have as human beings. I will miss her and always remember her with a smile!

I knew Jill was a cancer survivor. She paid the postage for me when I sent my son's (!) ponytail off to Locks of Love, and said she always did it. I will never forget her.

It was always a pleasure to visit with Jill. She always opened up her arms to give a great big hug and her smile was contagious. Jill was an absolute joy to be around and we will miss her dearly.

Another star shining brightly in the night sky.... Another angel to watch over loved ones.... this is the woman I had the utmost privilege to have known. Jill's enthusiasm for life was contagious. My sincere condolences to all of Jill's family. What a wonderful and caring person she was. I met her in the mid-1980's when I was a student at RPI and had a job in the Student Union. We had some great laughs together. She always remembered me years later when I stopped in to visit, and always cared so much about others' lives, even during her illness. A beautiful Light, snuffed out too soon. She will be missed.

It was such a shock to hear of Jill's passing. We are still trying to get over the tragic news. Jill was such a kind and compassionate person who did so much for others. To Jeff, The Alderman family and the Garfoli family,
I don't even know where to begin to say I am sorry. There is nothing that you can say to comfort the family at a time like this. In Jill's short period of life she has made more friends and made more people laugh than a lot of people that live twice as long as her. She has also had more sickness and injuries than most people have that live twice as long. She is finally out of pain and at peace. She will be with all of you always. It is going to be much harder on the family and friends that remain than for Jill. She will definitely be missed and thought of daily.
