Julia M. Farron Troy - Julia M. Farron 96 of Troy passed into eternal rest on Monday morning July 2, 2012 at the Van Rensselaer Manor. Julia was born in Port Henry NY and was the daughter of the late Annibale and Maria Cioffi D'Alessio and loving wife of the late Bernard Farron . Julia had worked at Cluett Peabody Co in Troy and retired from St Mary's Church in Troy where she had been employed as a cook .Julia loved spending time with her extended family especially her daughter and son and their families. Julia was the devoted and loving mother of Bernadette ( Michael ) Donahue of Green Island and Joseph ( Phyllis ) Farron of Troy. She is also survived by her sister Nancy Wilkinson of Troy and was pre-deceased by her sisters Beatrice DelGiacco, Pauline Centofanti , Martha Krill, Philomena Bruno, Alvira Vore ,and Antoinette Cupano and was also pre-deceased by her brothers Nello, Michael, Samuel , and Patrick D'Alessio . Julia was the very proud grandmother of Angela ( Shawn ) Krill, Tera (Lou ) Graiff, Michaeleen (JT) Campbell and Joseph ( Jennifer ) Farron and very special great grandmother to Christopher and Marissa Peabody, Morgan Campbell, Molly and Jesse Graiff and Kaitlyn and Sydney Farron . She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Julia will be held on Thursday morning at 10 am at St. Joseph's Church in Troy where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may call at the CHURCH Thursday morning from 9 am to 10 am. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery in Troy Anyone wanting to remember Julia in a special way may make a contribution in her memory to either St. Joseph's Church in Troy or the Hospice of Rensselaer County 295 Valley view Blvd. Rensselaer NY.
