Kathleen K. Albarelli COHOES - Kathleen K. Albarelli, 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 30th at the Eddy Village Green. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Bridget Carey King. Kathleen was a 1947 graduate of Catholic Central High School. She worked for the New York Telephone Company as a Business Representative, retiring in 1962 after 15 years of service to raise her beautiful family. She was a faithful communicant of the former St. Paul's church in Troy, where she was a member of their Adoration Society and Rosary Society. Kathleen enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and traveling. She was a faithful viewer of Days of Our Lives. Kathleen was predeceased by her beloved husband, Leonard A. Albarelli, whom she married on February 23, 1963 and who died on July 25th, 2008. She was predeceased by her siblings, Margaret McDonough, Sgt. Christopher King and James King; and her favorite niece, Mary C. McDonough. Survivors include her daughters, Dr. Gloria A. (John) Kennedy of Syracuse and Bridget T. Albarelli (Lisa Lemery) of Ballston Lake; treasured grandchildren, Patrick and Kathleen Kennedy and Joseph Lemery. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 AM at Our Lady of Victory, 55 North Lake Ave., Troy. Interment to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Church on Saturday morning from 10 to 11 AM. Kathleen's family would like to thank the staff at Eddy Village Green's House 14 for all the compassionate care shown to their mother during her stay. Memorial contributions may be made in Kathleen's memory to The Catholic Community of Our Lady of Victory, 55 North Lake Ave., Troy, 12180.
