Obituary Condolences

BUSKIRK - Michael J. Gannon, 49, died Saturday, April 6, 2013.
Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Vincent and Anna Head Gannon and was a graduate of Cambridge High School and Adirondack Community College.
He was employed by the state Office of Technology.
Brother of Sally (Richard) Purcell of Troy, Mary Ellen King of Ashford, Ala., Bobby (Paula) Gannon, Benjamin A. (Diane) Thorp III of Richmond, Va., Susan (John) King of Tucson, Ariz., the late Bonnie (the late John) Smith, the late Carol (Robert of Wynantskill) Webb and the late Frank (late Margaret) Gannon Sr. and uncle of Erin, Terence, Timothy and Richard Purcell Jr., John and George King Jr., Patricia, Carter, Yvonne and Donald Gannon, Heather Smith, Benjamin A. Thorp IV, Stephen, Walter, Kevin and Patrick Gannon, Karen Watts, Marian Hilladay, Margaret King, Cynthia, Sheri and Robert A. Webb Jr., Dawn Steck, the late Frank Gannon III and Charlene Hanczaryk, he is also survived by several great-nieces, great-nephews and friend Barbara (Andrew) Wakuluk.
Relatives and friends are invited to Michael's memorial service at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at Morris-Stebbins-Miner & Sanvidge Funeral Home, 312 Hoosick St., Troy, NY 12180, (518) 272-3930.
Private interment will be held at Island Hill Cemetery in Buskirk.
