DAIGNEAULT, PAUL COHOES - Paul W. Daigneault, 71, formerly of Watervliet Avenue, Cohoes died at VA Medical Center Hospital, Albany on Monday, February 13, 2012 after a long illness. He was born in Cohoes, educated in St. Joseph's School and graduated from Keveny Memorial Academy and was the son of the late Romeo and Flora Boyer Daigneault. He was a Senior Clerk at New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, retiring after 25 years of service. He was a Communicant and Lector at Holy Trinity Parish, Cohoes and a member of the Cohoes Knights of Columbus Council # 192, 4th Degree Assembly 734. A Navy veteran from 1960 to 1964 and from 1964 to 1967 he served in the Merchant Marines. He is survived by his sister, Claire (John) Rosbozom, Sr. of Cohoes, his brother Leo (late Marie) Daigneault, Sr. of Cohoes and long time companion of Elizabeth Snow of Guilderland. Uncle of Janice Cook of Cohoes, John Rosbozom, Jr. of Cohoes, Leo A. Daigneault, Jr. of Cohoes, Mark Daigneault of Cohoes and John Daigneault of Hyde Park, also survived by 10 grandnieces and grandnephews. Funeral Friday 9:00 am at Holy Trinity Parish, Cohoes where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford.
