Bob Gibson was simply a class act who could not have been a better representative for the University and our profession. Prior to his years as Registrar, I had the pleasure of working with Bob during my 9 years at Albany in the 80's and will always remember his professionalism; concern for students; sense of humor; and easy laugh. A great person, he will be missed but not forgotten by those he touched.

As singers, Bob and I performed many times together, not only in Karen Ranung Studio performances, but also in nursing and retirement homes, hospitals and other venues. He was such a gracious and warm person, so easy to sing with. I often think of him with fondness and miss those musical times we spent together. He is one of those individuals I remember who was of high character--a truly exceptional being. I am sad to hear of his passing and offer my condolences to the family. May the blessings be.
